Torch on Waterproofing
The torch on of Modified Bitumen Waterproofing Membranes is ideal for sustaining harsh weather conditions and offering complete water damage protection that is impact and tear resistant. Torch-on coatings provide excellent elasticity, ensuring all usual movement is well accommodated, restricting any unnecessary structural damage and costly long-term repairs. Two layered ‘torch-on’ systems are to be used in Southern Africa due to the thermal movement from high temperatures from the sun and the constant UV.
Self Adhesive Waterproofing
This waterproofing is a high-performance, self-adhesive sheet membrane constructed from an oriented laminate of high density polyethylene sheeting laminated to a bitumen-polymer modified adhesive compound.
Areas where this waterproofing is applied must be clean and free from dust. Before the application of this waterproofing a Neoprene Primer must be applied.
This primer has been specifically designed to improve the adhesion of self-adhesive waterproofing membranes to concrete, masonry, timber and metal surfaces.
Areas of use
Counter flashing, Ridge capping, Pipe dressings, Gutter sealing, Flat roof repairs, Valley linings, Roof sheet laps, Covering drive screws, Counter flashing for torch applied membranes, showers. (For tiling purposes there is a specific stick specially designed to receive tiles)

Crystalline Waterproofing
Concrete and cement is porous. Its tunnel-like capillaries are a natural part of its mass, and permit the passage of water and other liquids. It is a chemical treatment that would fill these capillaries to prevent the penetration of water and other liquids from any direction. By means of diffusion, the reactive chemicals in Crystalline waterproofing products use water as a migrating medium to enter and travel down the capillaries of the concrete. This process precipitates a chemical reaction between the product, moisture and the by-products of cement hydration, forming a new non-soluble crystalline structure. This integral structure fills the capillary tracts rendering the concrete waterproof.
